Project SMART is a digital learning initiative founded by Anil Mathew.SMART is an acronym for Study Materials Accessed and Readily Transferred. Primary objective of Project SMART is to provide digital learning materials to the learners FREE OF COST. Digital contents include educational softwares,documentaries,movies,e-books, guides etc. Project also aims to provide various training programmes for learners and teachers, which will enable them to face the challenges of tomorrow. Our motto is LIVE.LEARN.LEAD.
We are not funded by any government bodies or NGO's. We are not registered. We are a movement and work in an unique way. We dont take money but we do accept your creative outputs which can help a learner to acquire knowledge or simply enhance her/ his aesthetic sensibilities. You will be directly contributing to the institutions where this project is implemented. We will help you to choose an institution. We pool resources that are copyright free or which are in public domain or contents released under Creative Commons (CC) license. Project is headed by the founder. And in each institution project has a project coordinator and a group of volunteers.
WHY IS IT FREE ?
We strongly believe that every child has the right to education. And we want it to be free. The data is free because the project has compiled it from free and open sources. We can also help you to get sponsors for copyrighted materials.
FOUNDER
This project is founded by Anil Mathew. He is an alumnus of Govt. Victoria College, Palakkad, Kerala, India. He did his Masters in English Literature and Language and also holds a Bachelors degree in Education. He has got six years of teaching experience. His past employers are Unity Women’s College, Manjeri and TRK HSS,Vaniamkulam,Ottapalam.

Manoj. S. Kumar is our volunteer at Government Victoria College, Palakkad. He is pursuing B.Sc Physics. Government Victoria College became the first institution to have a group of our volunteers.

Mr Umesh P is our Project Coordinator at TRK higher SecondarySchool,Vaniamkulam, Ottapalam, Palakkad. He is a faculty in the Department of Chemistry and has fifteen years experience in teaching higher secondary students.
